Louie Vito is now the voice of X Games.

Louie Vito is no doubt disappointed that he’s not going to Sochi after failing to break into the top four qualifiers at last week’s Mammoth Grand Prix. To his credit the ever entrepreneurial Vito is already on to his next venture as a host for X Games, summer and winter. Check out the release for details and keep on eye on this oompa loompa on your ESPN screen this weekend!

CARLSBAD, Calif.—SPY® is Happy to announce two-time X Games medalist and Olympian Louie Vito will compete in and co-host the 2014 Winter X Games in his signature SPY + Louie Vito Marshall. Inking a three-year co-hosting deal, Vito will add broadcasting to his current bag of tricks for both summer and winter X Games.

“I have always been a huge supporter of X Games since I was a kid, so I was stoked at the opportunity to join the ESPN/X Games family,” said Louie Vito. “Being a competitor in the event, I look forward to bringing insight to the fans watching worldwide.”

Performing in-air and on-air for the duration of X Games 18, Vito will commentate on multiple disciplines in addition to competing in Men’s Superpipe Thursday, January 23. A must-have during competition, Louie Vito will don his signature SPY Marshall snow goggles during the Men’s Superpipe event.
