Double Shark Attack Claims the Arms of 2 Victims in North Carolina

A 12-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy each lost their left arms in separate shark attacks on Oak Island, North Carolina on Sunday.

Both attacks occurred just a few miles apart near Oak Island beach, the same general location where a girl was bit by a shark this Thursday.

In a scene out of the movie Jaws beach-goers were frightened as authorities scrambled to react. Beaches remain open on Monday but locals and tourists are timid about getting back into the water.

There has been a lot of inters of sharks on the East Coast already this summer with the team at Ocearch tracking multiple Great Whites, Makos and even a Tiger shark moving up and down the eastern seaboard.
