Patacchia Scores Perfect 10, Pulls Out of 2015 Championship Tour, Announces Retirement

Freddy Patacchia Jr. dropped a perfect 10 during Round 1 at the Hurley Pro before announcing he would no longer compete on the 2015 World Championship Tour.

Freddy P has been on the World Surf League World Championship Tour for 11 years. Hailing from Hawaii, Patacchia is beloved by fans and fellow surfers alike.

An outpouring of congrats, best wishes and farewells hit the social feeds in the minutes following his announcement. We wish Freddy best of luck on all his future endeavors.
