X Games Real Street Skateboarding Drop New Teaser – Show Airs May 14

From X Games:

Following Real Ski and Real Snow, the third installment in the Real Series Presented by HOT POCKETS® brand sandwiches schedule for 2016 will switch focus to summer sports with the eight Real Street video parts dropping today, May 4 at 12 p.m. ET, on XGames.com/RealStreet. The full World of X Games episode will air May 14 on ABC.

The videos will be judged by a panel of industry experts and a first place cash prize will be awarded to the winner, as well as gold, silver and bronze medals for the top three athletes and their filmers. Fans will also have a chance to view and vote on their favorite video in a tournament-style bracket with the fan favorite winning an additional cash prize.

The eight Real Street athletes invited to compete are Daewon Song, Torey Pudwill, Chris Joslin, Chaz Ortiz, Ryan Decenzo, Alec Majerus, Zack Wallin and Tom Asta.

After a successful 2015 campaign, X Games will host five new Real Series competitions in 2016 as part of the expanded content offerings provided by World of X Games on ABC. Each Real Series competition will culminate in a one-hour World of X Games show that will premiere on ABC and feature behind-the-scenes footage, athlete interviews and selection of the medalists. Like past Real Series competitions, each athlete will have the opportunity to team with an editor on the production of a video part that will present each rider in their own unique style. Each Real Series event’s videos will premiere on XGames.com where fans can watch and vote for their favorite.

The schedule is subject to change. More details will be available on www.xgames.com for fans or on www.espnmediazone.com for members of the media. Follow the X Games on Twitter at http://twitter.com/xgames and join the conversation using #RealSnow.
