A Penchant for Powder with Mary Rand

Mary Rand has always been a force to be reckoned with. Hailing from the East Coast and learning to ride at Loon Mountain, New Hampshire and the now famous Yawgoo Valley, Rhode Island, Mary has landed on the short list of top female riders for the past few seasons now. Trading in corduroy for the Cascades, the 2014 Rookie of the Year as well as TransWorld Reader’s Choice award in 2015, headed west two seasons ago and found a new home at Stevens Pass. Sparking a penchant for powder in the Pacific Northwest only drove her further to hone her craft in the backcountry this past season, with and without bindings we might add. Take a look at Mary’s last season spent with 686 and Vans at her adopted home mountain, and then check out her interview for a more in-depth look at what to expect from her this upcoming season!
