Slackline Stunt Nearly Ends in Tragedy
Slacklining is the modern version of tight-rope walking, except it’s done mostly by hippie-ish “slackers” hence the new name. No that’s not true. It has something to do with the slack jaws that observers suffer when watching these idiots try to defy gravity by walking over canyons on a strip of material the width of a seat belt–particularly when done “free solo” sans harness. Or maybe it’s the line is bouncy and has “slack” in it or something. Actually we’re not really sure why they call it slacklining. Regardless here’s a video of a “slack liner” taking it to Mother Nature by almost dying but not. Phew.
