Stupid Hiker Escapes Death on “Leap of Faith”

“Only from the leap from the Lions Head will he prove his worth.” Those were the words Indiana Jones read when confronted with the final challenge in his search for the Holy Grail. It could be argued that Indy’s motivation had merit, since he was chasing eternal life via the Cup of Christ. Alternately, this hiker decided to give his mother a heart attack by jumping off the “Leap of Faith” at the The Maroon Bells in Colorado. The timing of his leap was in his favor however, as he cleared the gap just as the rocks underneath gave way.

His luck was far better than a pair of female climbers from Jackson Hole that perished over the weekend after falling over 200 feet to their deaths. RIP.
