Cyclist Suffers Bone Crunching Impact at Tour De Utah
Cycling is gnarly. If you’ve watched any of the Tour De France recently and seen what these guys go through, it’s pure punishment. Not a whole lot of fun seems to be happening. In particular when these guys wipeout they go down hard. Such was the case this past weekend at the Tour Of Utah’s infamous Guardsman Pass hairpin, where Irish cyclist Matt Brammeier lost control of his bike, t-boning a chase car and sustaining extensive injuries, including fractured ribs, a punctured lung, and a broken pelvis.
