Metallica to Perform at X Games

Well this could be interesting. X Games announced today that Metallica will be performing at this year’s event in Austin, TX at the Circuit of the America’s track outside of town. Tickets are on sale now – XGames.com/tickets.

No doubt this will add an extra layer of excitement to an event that seems right at home in the heartland. After almost a decade in Los Angeles, the move to Austin not only vindicates the central Texas city’s status as a great American city, but also as a home and hot bed of action sports.
We just hope the crowds enjoy Metallica as much as they did in Moscow. I think it’s possible.
