It’s 2015 and Marty McFly’s Hoverboard is Here

In 1985 Marty McFly went “Back to the Future.” The year was 2015 and there were all sorts of futuristic inventions meant to capture the imagination of the audiences. More than any, Marty’s hoverboard skateboard seemed other-wordly. How on earth? Well, fast forward to 2015 and the future is now. Lexus of all companies decided to showcase its mag-lev technology by debuting a hoverboard and building a magnetic skatepark (more info). The results are unreal.

That said, since the entire skatepark in Barcelona, Spain was built with magnetic materials, enabling the device to function as seen, we probably won’t see this under many Xmas trees this December.
