Aspen Snowmass Sees Snowfall

A fast moving storm swept through Aspen/Snowmass overnight leaving up to 5 inches of new snow on the slopes, with cold temperatures and snow showers expected throughout the day today. Aspen Mountain’s Silver Queen Gondola is running this weekend with free rides to the top Saturday and Sunday. Aspen Mountain and Snowmass are scheduled to open for the ski season Thanksgiving Day, and Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk will open in early December.
