Mammoth Mountain Buys Big Bear

In big news coming out of California, Mammoth Mountain announces it has purchased Big Bear and Snow Summit while simultaneously launching a new pass offering – Cali4niaPass.com. The new pass will sell for $689 and provide unlimited access to Mammoth, Bear, June and Snow Summit.

The LA Times picked up the news today, which comes on the heels of Vail’s acquisition of Park City two weeks ago. Lots happening in the ski world these days. Let’s just hope snow is next on the list of things to go down.
