Watch Surfer Matt Meola Stick Incredible “Spindle Flip”

Whatever you call this new  on a surfboard it’s pretty incredible. According to pro snowboarder Todd Richards, “These Maui guys are pushing what’s possible in the air on a surfboard. I dig this trippy rotation. It kind of looks like a flatspin frontside rodeo. I have seen a couple kids do this in the pipe over the years, it looks like the frontside version of a backside rodeo/Michaelchuck in the pipe if that makes any sense. Anyhow, it’s pretty damn sick.”
