Kelly Slater is indeed a miracle maker. At the Hurley Pro at Lower Trestles Slater attempted a flyaway, backside air reverse. At first it seemed as though the 11-time world champ had lost it. Yet the perennial competitor shocked the crowd by landing on his board prone and popping back up to finish the maneuver and woo the crowd who applauded in delight.
