Kelly Slater Reflects on Disappointing 2015 Season

Kelly Slater may be the 11-time World Champion, but that doesn’t mean he’s always perfect. The 2015 season has been rocky for the veteran hero. In this clip he reflects on the challenges of staying on top and staying on tour.

“I started out this year not feeling real good about the year and sort of having a feeling that this wasn’t my year. When you have that thought in your head you sort of create that. I’ve had a lot of frustration these last couple years being so close and it not happening…I don’t think the surfing hasn’t been there…it’s been mostly mistakes.”
