The big news from Day 6 was Kelly Salter’s elimination from competition after losing to Portugese wildcard Frederico Morais. Meanwhile Slater’s rival for this year’s ASP World Title, Mick Fanning, handled the other wildcard challenger, Portgual’s Francisco Alves with little trouble.
