Wipeout Wednesday – Gnarly Teahupoo Fail Compilation 2013
Teahupoo, Tahiti is known as one of the world’s most gnarly waves. West swells careen across the pacific and slam into the reef “at the end of the road” on the main island of Tahiti’s western tip. All that energy sucks off the razor coral reef and forms inspiring yet deadly barreling waves. For the few and the brave, conquering this wave is the pinnacle of a life spent surfing. For others, it’s the last stop to a watery graveā¦ or at the very least, a most humbling tropical experience. Ouch!
