Wright, Medina Triumph at Roxy, Quik Pro France

Tyler Wright (AUS) won the Roxy Pro France for the second consecutive year, defeating Tour rookie Tatiana Weston-Webb (HAW), who was surfing in her first elite Final. Gabriel Medina (BRA) has won the Quiksilver Pro France, taking down Bede Durbidge (AUS). Neither Wright nor Medina has had a stellar season so far, but both seemed to find their footing in France: Wright ripped apart Culs Nuls with signature power, while Medina threw huge airs and earned two perfect scores before it was all over.
