GoPRO Drops New Camera – HERO4 Session

GoPro dropped a new camera today. It’s called the HERO4 Session and is a more compact version of the iconic camera with some slick new features and a badass black mate finish. It features a rugged and waterproof design, easy one-button control, 1080p60 video and 8MP photos.

It will be interesting to see if GoPro can continue to drive sales through product iteration the way that Apple does. Time will tell. The stock opened at around $50 Monday, July 6, 2015 after debuting via IPO last year at $24, reaching a high of $97 then backsliding into the high $30s.
