ShredLights are Headlights for Skateboards

Shredlights is a new company that, simply put, has designed headlights for skateboards. Using small LED lights, founder Drew Page created the device to help skaters avoid the pitfalls of low vision when night skating, including pebbles and cracks that can send even the best skaters free falling head over heels.

The lights are placed ender the trucks, which protects them from tricks and road debris. The Kickstarter campaign launched last week and is targeting $40,000 to get the project off the ground. The expected retail rate is about $50.
